Rail advocates will be joined by advocates for public health, transit, and other sectors to loudly say, "WSDOT - finish the job on the Amtrak Cascades!"

We'll have the Solutionary Rail Train and large banners, to deliver the over 700 comments people made to WSDOT regarding their Service Development Plan.

Our Message?

• Don't downsize the vision and purpose of the Amtrak Cascades.
• Dedicated track and 110mph higher speed track are essential for reliable, robust service that draws people out of their cars and onto the Amtrak Cascades trains.
• We need trip times of 2.5 hours between SEA-PDX and 2.7 hours between SEA-VBC.
• Service to every station is critical for Amtrak Cascades to fulfill its purpose of making train travel comfortably competitive with driving.
